Susan Meek

As the VP of Licensing for Precious Moments, Susan is passionate about teaching young girls about what really matters. That’s why she developed the new Be Precious license for girls ages 4-8.

Susan was always struck by the countless girl properties encouraging girls to grow up too quickly. She worried that today’s young girls were missing out on just being a kid. As part of the Be Precious initiative, Susan hopes to help girls appreciate the time they have when they are young and enjoy the simple, special moments of their youth.

Susan is a highly qualified licensing executive with more than 20 years experience in her field. With a BA in Labor Relations/Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Missouri, she’s been working for Precious Moments since 2006.

Susan was voted by her peers to serve on the Board of Directors for the Licensing Industry Manufacturers Association (LIMA). In 1998 she served as Regional Vice President for LIMA’s Mideastern region, and in 2002, she was elected to chair the Charity Committee for LIMA. She helped raised millions of dollars for the Hole in the Wall Gang and the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation.

Susan enjoys gardening, cooking and decorating, and she’s slowly working on remodeling her 30-year-old home. As an antiques enthusiast, she has filled her house with beautiful old items. This year, Susan has stayed busy attending and hosting numerous 50th birthday party events for her girlfriends.
