Marybeth Whalen is the wife of Curt and mom of six children.  The Whalen family is active in their community and church in the Charlotte, NC area.  Marybeth's interests include Bible study, blogging, reading, scrap booking, and cooking.

Marybeth received her degree from NC State University in Writing and Editing and has been using her writing to minister to women since that time. Her writing credits include The P31 Woman magazine, Money Matters Newsletter, The Old Schoolhouse, The Charlotte Observer, Hearts at Home magazine, Above Rubies, The Greenhouse Report, TEACH Magazine and Homeschooling Today. She contributes regularly to the daily online devotions for Proverbs 31 Ministries. Her book For The Write Reason was released in the summer of 2005.
