My friend thinks that this tastes like a dessert you would order at a fancy restaurant.
6 egg whites
1/2 cup applesauce
1 cup fat-free mayonnaise
1/2 cup fat-free hot fudge topping
1 (12-ounce) can raspberry cake and pastry filling, minus 2 tablespoons
1 tablespoon chocolate sprinkles
1 (18.25-ounce) Chocolate Fudge cake mix (Super Moist)
Yield: 16 servings
Preparation time: 18 minutes
Baking time: 12 minutes
Total time: 30
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Spray four (9-inch) round cake pans with non-fat cooking spray.
In a large bowl with mixer beat 6-egg whites until soft peaks form.
Stir in 1/2-cup applesauce, 1-cup fat-free mayonnaise and 1 (18.25-ounce) Chocolate Fudge cake mix with mixer until well blended.
Put 1 1/3-cup batter in each prepared cake pan.
Bake at 350-degrees for 12 minutes.
Remove cakes from oven.
Microwave 1 (12-ounce) can raspberry filling for 30 seconds in glass measuring cup.
Place one cake on cake plate. Spread 1/4-cup raspberry filling on top of cake. Put second cake over first raspberry covered cake and continue stacking, using 1/4-cup raspberry filling on each cake, until all cakes are used. You will have 2-tablespoons raspberry filling left over.
Heat 1/2-cup fat-free hot fudge in the microwave for 40-50 seconds or until hot and bubbly. Stir until smooth and creamy removing all lumps.
Drizzle hot fudge with spoon around top rim of cake allowing hot fudge to run down sides of cake. Put 1-tablespoon hot fudge in the middle of the cake.
Sprinkle 1-tablespoon chocolate sprinkles over top of the entire cake.
Slice and serve.
