Delicious fresh out of the oven or served at room temperature.
1 (10-ounce) pizza crust
1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 (20-ounce) package cherry oatmeal crunch mix, such as Calhoun Bend Mill brand
¼ cup nonfat spread
¼ cup low-fat, creamy deluxe vanilla frosting
• Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
• Spray a jelly-roll pan (17 x 11-inch cookie sheet with 1 inch sides) with nonfat cooking spray.
• With your hands press the pizza dough evenly to cover the entire pan
• Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the pizza dough.
• With a knife cut the nonfat spread into the cherry oatmeal crunch mix until the mixture has a crumbly consistency with pieces no larger than pea size.
• Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the pie filling.
• Bake for 12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the top is slightly crunchy.
• Microwave the frosting for 3 to 5 seconds, just enough to melt frosting
• Drizzle the frosting over the cherry pizza. Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before serving.
For Blueberry Pizza: Follow the directions exactly, but substitute blueberry pie filling instead of cherry pie filling.
